Physical Education in school

Our aim is to equip all of our students to live a balanced, healthy adult life.

Physical education in a broad range of sports and fitness activities will be a critical part of achieving this goal, and provision will be available at all stages of school life. In addition to a wide range of winter and summer physical education including individual and team sports we will provide a range of activities, teams and clubs to enable all students to take part in additional sport beyond the taught curriculum.

Inter-form competitions throughout the school will also give the opportunity for everyone to get involved in sport, and support their form. Winter Sports Clubs we hope to offer include badminton, basketball, cricket, cross country, dance, football, gymnastics, handball, hockey, indoor athletics, netball, rugby, table tennis and volleyball. Summer Sports Clubs we hope will include athletics, cricket, rugby, rounders, tennis, basketball, badminton and volleyball.
