Physical Education in school

Our aim is to equip all of our students to live a balanced, healthy adult life. 

Physical education in a broad range of sports and fitness activities will be a critical part of achieving this goal, and provision will be available at all stages of school life. In addition to a wide range of winter and summer physical education including individual and team sports we will provide a range of activities, teams and clubs to enable all students to take part in additional sport beyond the taught curriculum.

Inter-form competitions throughout the school will also give the opportunity for everyone to get involved in sport, and support their form. Winter Sports Clubs we hope to offer include badminton, basketball, cricket, cross country, dance, football, gymnastics, handball, hockey, indoor athletics, netball, rugby, table tennis and volleyball. Summer Sports Clubs we hope will include athletics, cricket, rugby, rounders, tennis, basketball, badminton and volleyball.

Thursday 18th October: The Year 11 Mock Exam timetable is now ready and will be emailed out to parents, along with half -term revision work. All tasks and revision will be posted on show my homework.  Click here for the Mock Exam Timetable  

Monday 17th September: Due to our Prospective Parent Open Evening, school will end at 1:30pm on Thursday 20th September in order to prepare the school. As a number of  students will be involved in supporting the event, school will begin at 10:30am on Friday 21st September. 

Friday 14th September: Our Prospective Parent Open Evening is on Thursday 20th September from 6:00-8.30pm in the lower school. The Headteacher's presentations will be at 6:15pm, 7:00pm and 7.45pm.
