St Andrew's judged OUTSTANDING by Ofsted June 2015

2 Jul 2015
I am delighted to inform current and future parents, that St Andrew the Apostle has been judged outstanding by Ofsted during its recent inspection. This glowing report reflects everything that students, teachers, parents, RET and the Church have worked and prayed for. HMI's judgement of St Andrew has made me very proud indeed and very grateful for God's many blessings on our school community. You can read a copy of the report and my letter to parents under our News section. Thank you for all your support and prayers. Ever to Excel.

Ofsted

11 Jun 2015
It has been an important and exciting week at St Andrew's with OfSTED inspectors here to examine the progress of the school so far. They were led by Mr Chris Campbell, HMI.The inspection followed the Ofsted Section 5 approach that is used in all state schools to inspect the school's:Achievement, Teaching & Learning, Behaviour & Safety and Leadership & Management. The school was inspected by observing lessons, looking at students' work and assessment outcomes, speaking to staff, students, parents and governors and by examining the school and Trust's own systems and policies. It was a rigorous and exhausting few days. We were very pleased with the performance of our students and we now have to wait for several weeks before the report is ready for publication. I will send the whole report out to parents as soon as I have it. Thank you for all your prayerful support this week.
